These days...

Monday Night $1 Bowling at Escape:
We try to meet up every Monday night at 10 p.m. to bowl.   It's cheap, it's fun and it's for serious asian bowlers who can't make it to the professional league.   We have veterans like Eric Peng (aka. the inconsistent), Becky (aka. fat fingers), Grace (aka. bitter mellon) and others that come regularly.  So come out if you can.

Michael Lee's Bachelor Party:
Michael was my last year's roommate.  Actually, he was not really my roommate but he decided to move in without my permission.  It's cool to see how May and Michael finally tied the knot.  I told May that if things don't work out between her and Mike, she can always have me as her backup.  The wedding is going to be crazy wicked.  I can't wait.

Michael(the one with the tie) and his younger brother Rob:

All his close friends:

Cheers!

Back at W hotel:

Two very bad boys:

Never seen Pastor Mike this cool before

Congrad once again to Michael and May.  Your wedding is going to be a blast.

Mission Trip this summer to Thailand: (July 16th to July 29th):
I am going on a mission trip this summer to Thailand.  Very excited for it.  The preparation meetings has been good.  Hearing all these cool testimonies from my friends about what God is doing at Thailand...I can't wait to meet the missionaries there.  If you need a support letter, let me know.  I will send it to you.

Mission Fund Basketball Tournament on July 8th at Naperville:
Please come out to support us and sign up for a team.  We need to raise some money for this trip.  If you are a baller, let me now.  It will be an all day tournament.

Here are some pictures from couple of our fund raising events:

Bake sale at church:

Car Wash:

And lastly, bbq dog meat sale...jk.

My roommate Steve, bought Toby as an engagement surprise present for his gf.   $800!!!!  This dog better knows how to pick up a phone or wash dishes when he grows up.  Congradulation to both Steve and Minh.  Where am I going to live next year?

Last but not least, family reunion pictures from China:

Come on US Soccer Team!!!  One game at a time.  You can do it!

You are happy when you see these numbers go up!

Numbers are such an important elements of our lives.  I guess that is part of the reason why I have math minor under my belt.

These are some of the numbers that bring a smile on my face when I see them:
1.  Recently, I got a 3% raise from work.  Even though it's not a big raise, that $5-$10 difference did bring a big smile when I saw my check this Friday.  I felt more fullfilling now working for TransUnion.  Yah!  go my $5 raise.

2.  Everything involves with money these days....sad.  Well, not sure if anyone finished doing your tax yet.  I did my tax online last week.  Usually, there is no one in the right mind will say "I enjoy doing my tax. Give it to me.  I want to do your tax."  If you know someone like that, please stay the heck away from him..or her.   I hate doing tax very much.  I hate it more than washing dishes or cleaning the leftover stuff in my toliet...but there is one part I enjoy very much when I signed on to Turbo Tax.  (not sure if they will give me some money by putting their name on my xanga.)  Any cow, when you start to enter all the personal informations (your salaries, donations, morgages, stocks..and etc.) and you see that bold 14 font size number in your refund bracket goes up, I have to say that is the highlight of my month of March.

3.  Another number I enjoy to see when it goes up is the number of people commenting on my xanga.  Do you all feel the same way?  I don't know why..it's kind of stupid but it is so true.  I feel like a loser sometimes when less than 5 people commented on my xanga.  My roommate, Captain, always has 20-30 people commenting on his entries.  Does that mean he is cooler than me?  Does that mean he is better looking than me?  Does that mean he does more dishes than me?  Probably not...but why do I go to my xanga every 30 mins to check to see if new people commented on my xanga?  Okay, I was kidding about every 30 mins.  I am not that crazy....hehe.

DEEN is getting married tomorrow!!!  Praise the LORD!  One down, many more single guys to go.

First Time

There is always a first time of everything:

For many years of my life, this is the first time I bought flowers to someone other than my mom.    Yup, crazy for sure.

On another note,  I should get a raise on my next pay check.  Praise the Lord!  Anyone wants to go to House of Sushi to celebrate?

--Servants Retreat (March 22-24)
--Battle of the Bands (April 8th)
--Trip to China (The end of April)

Great is Thy Faithfulness (A GREAT SONG)  I am reminded again that in order to have a relationship, it takes both parties to make certain level of commitment.  In my relationship with God, He is always the one who renews our friendship.  He is faithful to a mess up person like me.  Cabul, my little chipmunks, have a blessing winter break!!

Man, I need to buy a new digital camera. Xanga is kind of boring without any photos.  Who stole my baby camera?

Grad school here I come!

I am actually kind of excited about going back to school...not sure why.  I think I just miss putting information in my brain.  After we finished college, we don't really challenge ourselves to grow mentally.  Any how, my company is paying 5K for my tuition...my parents are going to pay 5K, and I have to come up with the rest.  I am going to be poor again.

Snow boarding:
Some of my friends are going snowboarding this Friday.  If you are interested, let me know.  We will go in the morning and come back around 10 p.m.

It is true that I have Eric Peng's "if I showed up at Bulls game, they will for sure lose" bad luck.  So far I have been at Bulls game 4 times this year, and they did not win a single game when I was there.  My friends and I were joking around after our last game vs. Seattle.  They said maybe I shouldn't watch the next few Bulls game, and see what happens.  They won the next three games when I didn't watch them.

Here are some pictures from the bulls game:

Here are some pictures from my roommate (Steve), Charlene, Regina and the rest of my friends who have birthdays party.  We are cheap, so we try to celebrate everyone's birthday at one setting.

Pictures from Christmas Party with Cabal at Anna parent's house.  Her house is pimp.  :

She called me one of the best golf instructor ever...heh heh.  I don't know what she is talking about.

Here is something interesting my dad sent me in the email:
The Shell Oil Company issued a warning for Cell Phone Utilization

The Shell Oil Company recently issued a warning after three incidents in which mobile phones (cell phones) ignited fumes during fueling operations.

In the first case, the phone was placed on the car's trunk lid during fueling; it rang and the ensuing fire destroyed the car and the gasoline pump.

In the second, an individual suffered severe burns to their face when fumes ignited as they answered a call while refueling their car.

And in the third, an individual suffered burns to the thigh and groin as fumes ignited when the phone, which was in their pocket, rang while they were fueling their car.

You should know that: Mobile Phones can ignite fuel or fumes

Mobile phones that light up when switched on or when they ring release enough energy to provide a spark for ignition. Mobile phones should not be used in filling stations, or when fueling lawn mowers, boat! , Etc.

Mobile phones should not be used, or should be turned off, around other materials that generate flammable or explosive fumes or dust, (i.e. solvents, chemicals, gases, grain dust, etc.)

To sum it up, here are the: Four Rules for Safe Refueling
1) Turn off engine
2) Don't smoke
3) Don't use your cell phone - leave it inside the vehicle or turn it off
4) Don't re-enter your vehicle during fueling

Guys, please remember to take out your cell phone from your pocket when you go fill up your car.

Oh yeah, I was coming back from work one day and I found her lost on the street.  Anyone know her?
